This is really not surprising considering Google can already do anything and everything for us, but now there are some tricks you can use to avoid using programs like Limewire, BearShare etc and download music straight from your browser much faster and more efficiently.

Without wasting more time here is the how-to:
Simply enter the below phrase in Google, and you will have all sorts of results for music by Oakenfold.

-inurl:(htm|html|php|asp) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “Oakenfold”

What this does is searches the open folders of sites for mp3 and wma files that contain the name of the artist, in this particular case Oakenfold, for any other song or artist simply change Oakenfold to your search string (works with all languages). Select the search result that makes you utmost warm and fuzzy inside and now you can have all the music in that particular folder. Right click on the songs you wanted for so long and choose “Save Target As” or “Save Link As” depending on the browser you are using.

It only gets better from there, you can also use this trick to search for videos, documents and whatever other files might be on the web, here is a little trick to finding videos:

-inurl:(htm|html|php|asp) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(mpg|wmv|avi) “jordan”

The same way you can search for images, jpg, gif… documents doc, pdf, xls…. and files with all sorts of extension…

This should be fun, enjoy!
