Battleships General Quarters 2 - First to deploy the battleships: select a ship, use keyboard left and right arrow keys to turn your ship, select a position on a the game board to deploy the selected ship. And then you are off to play the classic battle ship board game. The Battleships game features 5 ships: minesweeper, submarine, frigate, battleship and an aircraft carrier.
Before the battle starts, you\'ll have to deploy your fleet. As commander, it\'s your responsibility to determine the best strategic position for each of your five ships. To deploy your fleet, select a ship (positioned outside the game board) by clicking on it. The selected ship will now attach itself to your cursor. Once you have selected a ship (it has attached itself to your cursor), you can rotate it by using your keyboards arrow keys (left - right). Now, click on the game board to place it anywhere you want. Remember though, you cannot place a ship beyond the boundary lines of the board nor can you place ships on top of each other (as in real life). It is allowed to place ships adjacent to each other (no surrounding space is needed). Once a ship has been placed, you cannot change its position or rotation. When all five ships have been placed on the game board, the game will automatically proceed to the next phase. BATTLE PHASE: The battle takes place over two game boards;Defensive grid (left top - labelled \'COMPUTER\') Offensive grid (right bottom - labelled \'PLAYER\') The defensive grid monitors your fleet status and battle results from your opponent. The defensive grid reveals the position of your fleet and is only visible to you (your opponents cannot see you fleets position). The defensive grid represents the sea area where your opponent\'s fleet has been deployed (several miles from your fleets position). Since you don\'t know (and cannot physically see) the exact position of your opponent\'s fleet, you will not see any ships here. The defensive grid is where you fire, the offensive grid is where your opponent fires. FIRING: Battleships - General Quarters is a turn based game. You start the game by selecting a grid coordinate on the offensive grid (labelled \'PLAYER\') to fire upon. If your shot is a miss (you hit water), you\'ll see/hear a water splash and your turn will end. Your computer opponent takes over which is indicated by the highlighted text above your defensive grid (labelled \'COMPUTER\'). If your shot is a hit (you hit a ship segment), you\'ll see/hear an explosion. You remain in turn until a miss occurs. This rule applies to your opponent as well. Since you cannot physically see your opponent\'s fleet, you will not know, what ship has been hit. Only if a ship has been destroyed (sunk), you will be notified what ship has been sunk so you can adjust your firing strategy. End of the mission: Your mission will be successful if you manage to destroy the entire enemy fleet (all five ships) before your fleet has been destroyed. If your computer opponent destroys your entire fleet, your mission has failed. Enjoy!
3 Foot Ninja 2 - Three long years have passed since our little warrior\'s journey began. After the darm and trecherous path that led him to the Elder\'s scrolls, our little hero was celebrated throughout the Kingdoms. Word spread quickly of this little warrior of the people and everywhere he went, folks of all cultures and ages welcomed him into their homes. But as his game grew and his face became known, so his enemies swore vengance. Dark lorts sent out killrs and minions to find and take out little ninja. But each attempt at his life failed and the lords grew impacient. The little ninja grew stronger under the tutoring of his mentor, the tiny warrior became a full fledged Ninja and was called upon by many. In his short life, he had become savious for the people and a nuicanse to the Darm Lords that reigned across the vast mountain regions. Deep in bowels of evil, he hated lords raised armies and prepared to smite the land of the living. Monstrosities where born that would be no match to any man. Fires burned day and night and the sounds of metal being hammered into deadly weapons and armor could be heard for miles. So it came to be that on this day a week ago, our little hero received news that the land to the south had been overtaken by armies of dead and mutated warriors. Towns were burned and its inhabitants slain or shackled. The king of the southern lands had lost his daughter in a seige of the castle. Now our little warrior is off to lend his hand in the recovery of the princess and the land.
