DIY Photo Bleach: Altered Imagery

DIY Photo Bleach: Altered Imagery video:

This is an altered image technique I learned while taking IB art in high school. It's pretty easy to get the hang of it and it makes for an awesome effect. You need: A photo, of course. bleach, a kitchen or bathroom sink, a small tray or tupperware container, and gloves! For the photo bleach resistance you will need clear nail polish or some other medium that will dry clearly and protect the photo. NOTE: I have never tried this with print-at-home photos! ALL photos in this video were taken by me. Some were featured in the Tampa Museum of Art in 2007 for a student exhibit. My favorite books on altered art: "Altered Art" - Terry Taylor "The Complete Guide to Altered Imagery" - Karen Michel (this one has more ideas for bleaching!) nail polish: LA Girl flare "tropical" TWITTER: http://twitter.com/kelseyr2 BLOGSPOT: http://kelseyr2.blogspot.com/
