The Brooklands Vimy replica will no longer be able to fly after 2009. In an attempt to preserve memories of the wonderful aeroplane and all its achievements, it was decided to take some air to air picture. World famous aviation photographer Cliff Knox agreed to do it and I volunteered to video the event. It was a very cold and cloudy winters day when we set off, but despite the cold we got some good photos and had a great time. Cliff photographed from Melvyn Hiscock Rearwin Cloudster, which was piloted by John Dodd while Melvyn piloted the Vimy along with Jerry Palmer. Camera men were Jeff Sechiari, Julian Temple and Andy Lambert. Location was oxford and the date was 27th Jan 2009. Brooklands Museum can be found at www.brooklandsmuseum.com
