I remember watching this..I was in 1st grade! I fell in love with figure skating after her programs!

The double also allowed for variations not only on the entrance to the jump but also to the jump itself and the exit. Baiul wouldn't have held her arms that way landing a Triple Flip.

wow i don't know how in the world she landed that lutz, during the slow motion of the lutz her arms were all over the place and i'm suprise she still was focus to land it. now that's courage especially in the olympic games:)

Positive's - a flying camel spin - 2nd to none; nice dbl axel; presentation great.
Negative's: layback travels, two foot lutz, lack of difficulty in the circular footwork seq.
CZE got it right technically - 5.4;
Presentation - 5.8 or 5.9.

Why does she keep skating after the music stops? Isn't that supposed to be a penalty?

This is one of the few performances alongside G/G that I really remember from these Olympics. She was fantastic...

It's so nice to see a high quality version of this, thanks! I LOVE this program, she has this mesmerizing quality about her. You can be artistic and hit gorgeous positions without being a contortionist... the young girls today can learn a lot from this.

What always amuses me about this, is that the commentators didn't say a word. Normally you can't shut them up...we get a full performance with no words..it was rather nice.

that headpiece is so precious.

because at the time they wanted to see real footwork preceding the jump. now it's just masked footwork if they do it at all.

thanks. I never got why a triple wasn't the 3rd required jump. Everyone could do a triple in the early 90s
