Great stuff. Incidentally, Aly Bain is not only a terrific fiddler he is also a nice guy. He took the time to personally e-mail me in answer to a query I had sent to his agent. Not many stars will do that.

If you interested, there is another version of this set played by the Schryer Triplets on their CD "Triple Fiddle". I think you can buy it online. The three of them harmonize over the My Lilly and then jam through the last two tunes. It's pretty powerful.

Yes, Scotland do treasure this fantastic pair, both wonderful in thier own right. Phil used to play along side his late brother,who in my opinion was one of the best players ever ;-)
