Galacticmaster, Maybe the older generations, but I have hope for the younger generation of Russians. Even if he has the internet monitored and censored in Russia, hackers (who are ussually young) will find ways around it; as they do in China. And the more the State tries to control the media, the more curious about forbidden ideas and knowlege, that its young people will become. I think that when Putin's generation has died-out, Russia will become much more like a true democracy.
