Some of you are living under a huge rock; If you were to tell a DPRK refugee that prisons in America could be compared to north korea, they would flat out disagree with you, or laugh at your ignorance. in the united states, we baby prisoners compared to other countries. they get more than enough meals a day, book access, education opportunities while serving sentences, and privileges to see family and friends. in DPRK you get to attend public executions as a prisoner or CITIZEN. enough said.

2nd, it's true that S K generally don't care about the human rights of their N K brothers. Even when they manage to escape and enter S K, they are often treated as animals by businessmen and even the S K govt.

I lived in S K and I'd just like to say a few things:1st, I'm amazed by the numbers of S K who are under the opinion that they have nothing to fear from N K simply because they are of the same blood! This sort of thinking is illogical. LOOK at what the N K are doing to each other for crying out loud! If they can do that to their own... just think of what they would do to the S K if the door was wide open to do so.
