They were not that slow considering they were brand new and under the tv lights. Also the balls get a little hot under those lights. Plus the slate. So, they were really not that slow. They become crap at the local pool hall after a few weeks though.

That man morris mastered reverse english. It was a great game. He stayed in line most of the time and had great speed on the ball. hit the que ball with authoraty. He decided not to play any safeties he was going out right from the beginning.

The IPA would you there own cloths, which were slow and they would you rules to make the game harder to break and run.

No you are right. This isn't fast cloth...its very very slow old style nap cloth. IPT tables are the original professional tables with slow cloth and tiny pockets and one piece slate....wish I could afford to buy one!
