Any one wanting to know the facts from the people who have been talking to the CAA, Aircraft builders, Crew and all those at the sharp end, could go to brooklandsmuseum com and look at the Vimy news page.

With the greatest respect, you are ill-informed and mistaken if you think that. The people featured in the video are the Great and the Good of Brooklands, because they are the people that give up their time to go there and make it a special place. They make it happen against all the odds If you were to spend just a few hours working with these special people you would know that.

There are no "great or good" at Brooklands. This aircraft could fly for many more years, the crew are happy to, the CAA are willing to help and there are engineers happy to do any work but no, the museum directors would rather it deteriorated in their dilapidated, leaky hanger along with their other moth eaten exhibits rather than fly to be enjoyed by thousands. The decision to ground it rests entirely with them, Shame on them
